In good news, I'm still confused as to why the Recent Links and Recently Viewed Media lists always get destroyed.. so I simply gave them a quasi-fix. They will use a little more resources, but should NOT appear blank or have broken images anymore. Hoorah! I also eliminated several broken links, so the site should be a little less buggy now! |

They are requesting payments upwards of $98 billion dollars from college student violators. Boycott the RIAA. Here's my case.. I used Napster in the beginning. During that time, I purchased 30 CDs from bands I didn't even know the names of before Napster. When the RIAA shut down Napster, I shut down my purchasing of their CDs and have not purchased a CD since. I recommend everyone else do the same. File-sharing servers are now under attack and I no longer feel safe downloading from them.. leaving me with two options: either I won't download anything at all or I'll take friends' CDs and burn from them. All readers out there: Boycott the RIAA. It is as evil as corporations come. If you wish to support artists, go to their concerts.. or just send money straight to them. Die, RIAA, die.. |

| 03/22/01 | There's now a communicate button on this page, as well as a link directly to the message board from the "splash page" (the first page). Makes it more convenient I guess if you just wanna talk on the board. Also redesigned it a little. Message Board now has a better message after posting, and automatically redirects back to the board right after you post in 2 seconds. Message board now uses titles, and email is no longer required.. yeah. |

| 03/15/01 | PICTURE UPDATE! Ok.. no new pictures.. but I changed the picture pages! Now all of the older images are like the new ones, with a cropped shrunken "quick" version and a full-sized version. That be killin me bandwidth, but oh well. |

| 03/7/01 | Due to some special requests, the car list has now been modified! Three new cars have been added, and some of the formulas have changed. The gas efficiency is now correct, it had a bug but now works fine. I made some stats weighted less, such as power curve and POS factor. Also modified the starting page, made the image about 11k smaller to help the page load faster. |
| 02/24/01 | Coupla small things, the What's New part was getting too big so I moved all the ones that are 3 weeks or older to an archive (found below). Added a counter to the blank page (when the page is preloading), and that counter is run from my server using CGI (I knew it would be handy for something). Also reordered the sidebar javascript, it was giving me a bug occasionally on Netscape where it couldn't find the functions. |
| 02/22/01 | NEW PICTURES! OK only 8 more, most of them suck too. The good news is.. I shrunk the pictures even more, and now you when you click on the thumbnail it goes to only the picture.. I cropped away all the useless stuff around the sides. You can still get the full image by clicking on the file size all the way on the right. These new pictures.. some of them turned out in shades of red, for some reason. I had to color half of them myself. Not fun. ALSO.. I'm moving the "Page last updated" thing right above this to the opening page, so you don't have to go through all the preloading crap just to see if its been updated. |
| 02/18/01 | Moved to a new server, Geocities just sucked. I've got some big plans for the page.. like getting rid of the riceburner comparison and instead putting in a rating of all cars. That might seem a little less biased, and it'll still make American cars look better because.. they are better. I also now have CGI ability, which'll let me do all sorts of.. fun.. stuff. |
